The SIGMA can be used for a variety of applications, including broadcast, male and female vocals, speech, drums and percussion, piano, accordion, acoustic guitar and orchestral instruments. It is also ideal as a direct microphone for guitar cabinets.

The SIGMA operates with phantom power, setting it apart from traditional transformer-based ribbon microphones. It can be used with nearly every pre amp, allowing consistency throughout a recording while creating the smooth, uncolored audio characteristics ribbon microphones are known for.

The SIGMA is available in a black finish and is packaged in an aluminum carrying case. SIGMA's special mounting system for increased noise reduction is also included.
